Hon. Lady Justice Kazaarwe during the meeting at Family Division

The Family Division of the High Court on Thursday (November 21, 2019) afternoon engaged members of the newly set up Chain-Link Committee, which was set up during the last court users meeting in July 2019.

In a meeting chaired by Hon. Lady Justice Olive Kazaarwe Mukwaya, members were informed that the Judicial Officers at the Division are committed to holding such interactions as one of the mechanisms to get feedback from court users. 

The meeting discussed among other things the drafting of Family Division's Court User's Manual meant to ease to justice. 

The meeting drew a cross-section of participants from different institutions such as the Office of the Administrator General, Probation Office, Uganda Law Society as well as the Mediation Registry.
